Lake Blanch

Decided to trek up to lake blanch again. Was quite a workout, had dead legs the whole way down.

Porsche 928 S4 is done!

Here is the latest, I did my best but this model was kinda cheap so I think its not as good as the two before it. Hopefully its the models fault and I havent lost my touch.

Boomer spreads out on the floor when it gets hot.

He refused to sleep on this bed unless I put a towel over it. He doenst like the fake fur material.

The Cuda is Done!

I wasn't sure how this one would turn out, but sanding before and after clearcoating provided a glossy finish. There were wrinkles in the large black decals on the sides, but because they were under the clearcoat you cant see them. Very few parts were hand painted on this build, used alot of semigloss black spray on the interior and misc trim. This was my first Revell kit in a while, and it felt kinda cheap and low quality compared to the Japanese kits. The tires dont spin and there was alot of clean up required on the parts.

I also have a new display case for the cars, something to keep the cat from chewing them up.

This is my first model with a perfect glass finish on the paint, too bad the silver color is not too good at showing it off.

GSL Model Show

I was at the hobby store today and they guy told me there was a Model Show going on just blocks from where I live, so I checked it out. Here are some pics.

Couple more cars finished

Each car is a step in the right direction, I am learning alot of techniques as I go.
Here is my second car complete a 57 chevy bel air.

 My third model completed is a 41 Chevy Pickup.
